Statement on the Duty to Provide Information (Privacy Policy)
The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with legal requirements (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website. When you visit our website, your IP address, as well as the start and end times of your session, are recorded for the duration of that session. This is necessary for technical reasons and thus constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Unless otherwise specified below, we do not process this data further.
Contact Us
Data Storage
Please note that, to simplify the purchasing process and facilitate subsequent contract fulfillment, the online store operator stores the IP address of the connection owner via cookies, as well as the buyer’s name, address, and credit card number. In addition, we also store the following data for the purpose of contract fulfillment: email address and completed orders. The data you provide is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data is not transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing banks/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price. After the purchase process is canceled, the data stored by us is deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data arising from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiration of the tax retention period (7 years). The data—name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date—will also be stored until the expiration of the product liability period (10 years). Data processing is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of Section 96(3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via your browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website. Web-
Analysis
Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. This involves the use of cookies that enable an analysis of how users interact with the website. The information generated in this way is transmitted to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have entered into a corresponding contract with the provider regarding commissioned data processing. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized (e.g., by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result, only a rough localization is possible. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission. Data processing is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of Section 96(3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our objective under the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our services and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized.
Newsletter
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do so, we need your email address and your consent to receive the newsletter. You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time. Please send your cancellation request to the following email address: info@viennapiano.at. We will then immediately delete your data related to the newsletter distribution. This revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until the revocation.
Your rights
You generally have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and transfer your data, as well as the right to withdraw consent and object to the processing of your data that we have stored. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection laws or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may file a complaint at info@viennapiano.at or with the data protection authority.
