Online piano lessons
Learn from the comfort of your home
Perhaps you've already watched a few videos about playing the piano or tried using an app to learn piano online. Digital learning content supports your learning success, but so far cannot replace a competent teacher.
With us, every hour can also be held online - we do this via Zoom. A lot can be achieved with screen sharing and visualization of the piano keys - Corona has shown us that there is more to online lessons than you think.
Just give it a try and hold your trial lesson online!

The daily press
Hi there, my name is
and look forward to immersing myself in the world of piano playing with you! I have been playing the piano for over 30 years and have been teaching for over 15 years. In addition to classical music, I also teach jazz.
I did my training at the Bruckner University Linz (Bachelor Concert Subject / IGP), at the MDW Vienna (IGP Master with distinction), at the MUK (Master Vocal Repetition with distinction) and at the JAM Music Lab (jazz piano). In addition, I was an Erasmus student at the Koninklijke Conservatorium in Brussels for a year as part of my master’s degree.
I was able to expand my knowledge in numerous master classes, including with Helmut Deutsch, Roger Vignoles, Aleksey Sokolov and Wolfram Rieger.
In addition to my work as a piano teacher and répétiteur in the Upper Austrian State Music School, I am also regularly on stage as a soloist and chamber music partner. I have recently played concerts at the Ehrbarsaal in Vienna, the Black Box Theatre in New York and the Birthhouse of Schubert in in Vienna.
Currently I am working as an instructor for piano at New York University and therefore only teach online.
I am open to all styles and I am happy when I can pass on my enthusiasm for music to you.
Offer : classical piano, jazz / pop / rock piano, accompaniment
Languages of instruction : German, English, French, Italian.
I also speak Spanish, Russian, Chinese and some Portuguese.

" The lessons with Bernhard are a lot of fun and he competently passes on his joy in music. The teaching units are always very varied and Bernhard's way of teaching is totally motivating. "
" To make playing the piano fun, you need a good teacher. Bernhard helped me to improve my playing, even though my time to practice is limited. Looking into the world of jazz has definitely broadened my musical horizons. Thank you! "
"Great recommendation! My son and I take piano lessons and Bernhard Jan always gives them vivid and empathetic design. He cater to all individual needs and mixes classical pieces with improvisations if desired. If you want, you can perform what you have learned in a semester concert Making music like this and getting it conveyed is fun and leads to a more holistic understanding of music! "
Do I need a piano

I'm so old, I can still learn the piano
Only if you drink enough water ;-) Joking aside, it's never too late to start. Please don't expect to win the Scriabin competition, but playing your favorite pieces is definitely possible!
