Adults -  Piano lessons in Vienna

It's never too late to start or start over

Many adults wonder whether you can still learn the piano as you get older. The answer is yes! Since cognitive thinking is much more developed in adults than in children, reading notes, for example, can be learned much faster. Although the motor skills in children are more flexible, this does not mean that one can no longer learn an instrument in adulthood, which has now also been scientifically proven. It is important for both adults and children to invest time regularly.

Online lessons

Learn from the comfort of your home

Perhaps you've already watched a few videos about playing the piano or tried using an app to learn piano online. Digital learning content supports your learning success, but so far cannot replace a competent teacher.

With us, every hour can also be held online - we do this via Zoom. A lot can be achieved with screen sharing and visualization of the piano keys - Corona has shown us that there is more to online lessons than you think.

Hello, I am

Aimo

My name is Aimo Pagin and I share with all music lovers my passion for teaching piano and music. I have had a very varied musical education with a wide range of influences, from the French piano school to the Russian and even the American!

For years, my lessons have been characterized by intensive collaboration with my students. I also try to make the lessons as fascinating as possible, as music is not a “normal” subject.

Hello, I am

Anna Magdalena

With the joy of making music and a solution-oriented approach, I support you in gaining an understanding of music as a language with its own fascinating laws and in acquiring technical tools that help you to express your musical ideas freely. These tools include, for example, touch techniques for a colorful sound design, musical tension as a means of expression and a confident way of learning by heart. I look forward to accompanying you on your personal musical path with my knowledge and experience!

Hello, I am

Gabriel

I specialize in teaching children and toddlers, but also enjoy teaching adults.

Hello, I am

Afamia

I look forward to discovering the world of music with you! I have always enjoyed teaching and try to pass on to my students the joy of music that I myself feel when making music. In addition, teaching basic instrument-specific technique and music theory is important to me as a foundation on which to build. I am open to all styles and am always curious to discover new things in music.

Hello, I am

Leon

My name is Leon and it is a great pleasure for me to teach you the different languages of music, whether classical, jazz, popular music or improvisation. Hello, I am

Jakob

It is a great pleasure for me to accompany interested people in the experience of music. I practice a very holistic pedagogical approach in which there are no stylistic limits and free improvisation has just as much place as work on technique, expression and much more.

Rezensionen

And this is what our students say about us ...

Jasmin M.

Jasmin M.

"Leon is a very patient, pleasant, humorous and experienced piano teacher. He has a very extensive musical knowledge and is able to pass this on to the student in a simple and understandable way. I felt comfortable from the very first lesson. He gave space to my concerns and goals and showed me suitable exercises with ease, which helped me a lot. One of the most important aspects is that the joy of music and playing is very much in the foreground!"

"My son Theo (6 years old) has been taking lessons with Michaela since October 2019. With her fun and motivating manner, she has not only strengthened his love of music, but has actually taught him to play the piano in a playful way in a very short time. Her always positive demeanor means that even difficult topics can be tackled without overwhelming him. Fun and enjoyment of music are the main focus."

"The lessons with Florencia are very educational and interesting. You can learn a lot with her, but also have fun. I think she is a very professional teacher because she helps me with every piece, but also with the finger exercises, so that I understand everything immediately and can play it without making any mistakes at the end. She is very patient, honest and open. I learned a lot with Florencia."

FAQ

FAQ

?

Yes, because without practice, no progress is possible. Practicing on a piano at home is essential and you can't do it without a piano.  here  you can find our tips for buying a piano

What if I can't

?

If you let us know in good time - no problem, we will find a solution. In general, we ask you to cancel hours that you cannot attend at least 48 hours in advance.

What about Corona?

?

For access to the Musikquartier, a 2G certificate has been required since Nov 21. During a lockdown, lessons take place online. This does not currently apply to (future) professional musicians who want to prepare for a degree. These can currently receive face-to-face lessons or provide a 2.5 G certificate. For students up to and including 15 years of age, the Ninja Pass is currently sufficient as 2 G proof.

?

If there is a free space, please. The semester card will then be calculated on a pro-rata basis. Appointments for individual lessons or blocks of ten can be arranged at any time, even outside of the semester, holders of a semester card can also book vacation lessons at the semester price

?

Yes online lessons are possible and are held via zoom. You will receive a link that you can use to log in to the online meeting.

I'm so old, I can still learn the piano

?

Only if you drink enough water ;-) Joking aside, it's never too late to start. Please don't expect to win the Scriabin competition, but playing your favorite pieces is definitely possible!
