Frederich Chopin: Ballade No.4

In this video, our teacher Florencia Hernandez plays Chopin's Ballade No. 4. To play classical works, knowledge of the music alone isn't enough, as Gustav Mahler once said, "the most important thing in music isn't in the notes." FAQ

DO I NEED A PIANO?

Yes, because without practice, no progress is possible. Practicing on a piano at home is essential and simply impossible without one. Here are our tips for buying a piano.

CAN I JOIN DURING THE SEMESTER?

If a spot is available, please do so. The semester ticket will then be charged pro rata. Appointments for individual lessons or blocks of ten lessons can be arranged at any time, even outside of the semester. Semester ticket holders can also book vacation lessons at the semester rate.

I'M SO OLD, CAN I STILL LEARN THE PIANO?

Only if you drink enough water ;-) Joking aside, it's never too late to start. Please don't expect to win the Scriabin Competition, but playing your favorite pieces is definitely possible!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T ATTEND A LESSON?

If you let us know in advance, no problem, we'll find a solution. Generally, we ask that you cancel any classes you can't attend at least 48 hours in advance.

CAN I ALSO LEARN ONLINE?

Yes, online classes are available and will be held via Zoom. You will receive a link to log in to the online meeting.

CAN I PAY IN INSTALLMENTS?

You can pay for the semester ticket in installments, while blocks of ten and individual lessons are payable in one go. If you have any problems with payment, send us a message and we'll try to find a solution.

WHAT DO I DO,
IF I CAN'T BOOK A TRIAL LESSON WITH MY PREFERRED TEACHER?

This means your preferred teacher is currently unavailable. Just try another teacher—everyone here is qualified. Otherwise, send us an email and we'll see what we can do for you.
