2nd International Vienna Piano Competition “Vienna Classic”
Get to know the stars of tomorrow! 65 selected pianists of different ages will compete in the second round of this competition in the Ehrbarsaal - the winners of each category will then present their program in the Glass Hall (Magna Auditorium) of the Musikverein !

About the event
The Vienna Piano Summer Festival is organized annually by the Vienna Piano School and invites pianists from all over the world to show off their skills on stage.
The second part of the festival is the International Piano Competition "Vienna Classic". 65 selected pianists between the ages of 7 and 35 are invited to the second round in the Ehrbarsaal. Each participant plays a piece from the Viennese Classical period, the rest of the program can be chosen freely. An international jury of experts judges the performers, the winners of each category perform in the Glass Hall of the Musikverein (Magna Auditorium). With over 250 registrations from over 50 countries last year, this competition has quickly become an important international event in the field of classical music.
