3rd International Vienna Piano Competition “Wiener Klassik”
Get to know the stars of tomorrow! 75 selected pianists of different ages will compete in the second round of this competition in the Ehrbarsaal - the winners of each category will then present their program in the Glass Hall (Magna Auditorium) of the Musikverein !

About the event
The Vienna Piano Summer Festival is organized annually by the Vienna Piano School and invites pianists from all over the world to showcase their skills on stage.
The second part of the festival features the 3rd International Piano Competition "Viennese Classics." Sixty-five selected pianists, aged 7 to 32, will be invited to the second round in the Ehrbar Hall. Each participant will perform a work from the Viennese Classical period; the rest of the program is of their choosing. An international panel of experts will judge the performances, and the best in each category will perform in the Glass Hall of the Musikverein. With over 250 entries from more than 50 countries last year, this competition has quickly become a major international event.
