About the event
The French-Canadian pianist Antoine Rivard-Landry captivates audiences with his expressiveness, charisma, and masterful virtuosity. A graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, he was awarded the Beethoven Prize at the International Piano Competition "Wiener Klassik" (sponsored by C. Bechstein), where he also won first prize in his category. He has performed at the Berlin Philharmonie , in Vienna, Zurich, and Montreal, and is considered one of the most exciting young pianists of his generation. His interpretations combine technical brilliance with emotional depth and a refined sensitivity to sound.
In this program, Antoine Rivard-Landry creates a fascinating arc between Beethoven's heroic spirit and Chopin's poetic intimacy. Beethoven's late Bagatelles reveal the composer in concentrated clarity – small musical gems full of wit and depth.
